How we're rated

Our Lakhbir Gill have been recommended by senior partners from major law firms. The following are selected reviews attributed to him.

Review 1

Lakhbir reported directly to me and he was involved in all aspects of business development work. As the firm grew in scale and complexity, Lakhbir did an immense amount of foundation work, as the firm did not previously have a well-developed platform or set of systems in these areas. He was primarily responsible for seeing the firm through two major re-branding exercises - the first in 2010 when the firm decided to adopt a more institutional but younger and sleeker brand identity, and the second in 2014 when the firm undertook a brand extension to herald the setting up of Rajah & Tann Asia, a network of 8 law firms in South East Asia and China.

Lakhbir exhibited energy, drive, and passion in discharging his duties. He was diligent and responsible, and by 2015, was managing a team of supporting executives. His years with the firm enabled him to acquire a sound track record and valuable experience and expertise in relation to business development in the law firm context. By the time he left the firm in 2015 to pursue other opportunities, he has gone through and contributed actively to an intense and exciting period in the firm’s history and evolution. This places him in an excellent position to undertake other business development work at a senior level in the professional services industry.

Review 2

Lakhbir assisted me for 14 years at my international arbitration practice in amajor Singapore firm and subsequently an international firm. In the last decade, he spent considerable time working for me on various practice development pursuits in the region. His previous experience in legal work products gave him a sharper focus when it came to marketing legal services and securing briefs. He was also instrumental in increasing the regional profile of the practice through the ranking and media channels. Most notably, he was successful in the strategic compilation of information and statistics for the Global Arbitration Review (GAR) submissions, resulting in the international arbitration practice being ranked as top 30 in the world (GAR30) for 4 consecutive years, a feat that remains unrivalled in Asia. He has accumulated valuable experience that can be of immense value in the professional services sector, and his success is clearly illustrated by his track record.
