Lakhbir’s 22 years’ experience in the legal sector encompasses an interesting mix of legal and non-legal work.

His experience in the last decade includes insightful exposure in the entire spectrum of business development & marketing, brand development & management, media publicity, budget planning and loss prevention initiatives in the legal sector. 

He is equipped with knowledge of developing and implementing strategic plans, including years of experience working with senior partners in regional and international law firms. 

Lakhbir was Director of Business Development & Communications at Rajah & Tann during a period when it became one of the best branded law firm in South East Asia, aided by creative marketing campaigns on the advertising platform and combined with robust publicity on multiple platforms, all of this during a period when the firm grew rapidly to nine offices in the region. 

He also spent over four years at Jones Day as well as a short period in the Hong Kong office of Mayer Brown JSM. 

His recent experience also includes working with managing partners and/or partners from law firms in Singapore, China (& Hong Kong SAR), Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Lao PDR and Myanmar, as well as virtual practices focused on Japan & India.
